On Friday, July 10, the participants in the shared cities leadership course conducted a very successful meeting. The group showed their commitment by arriving in full force. They conducted a highly interesting discussion on the legitimacy of a nation-state, and of the Jewish nation-state in particular.

MK Sami Abu Shehadeh gave a lecture on the subject of the Nakba in shared cities. Among other things, he addressed the dire consequences of the Nakba in terms of freedom of movement, communications and connection within the Palestinian people and between family members, as well as the coexistence imposed on Palestinians.

At the end of the meeting, the participants shared the initiatives they are planning in their city.
