Planners Course Meet for The Fifth Time

The School for Peace Posted on 21/06/2019 by Ira Elan21/06/2019
Participants of the planners course meet on April 5,2019 for the fifth time for a tour in Wadi Ara. The group gathered at offices of local committee of Wadi Ara, there they met Mr. Modar Yones Mayor of Ara-Arara and the chair of Arab municipalities committee.
Participants  joined a lecture about housing distress among Arab communities in Wadi Ara by Dr. Enaya bana-jeres, an architect of local committee in Wadi Ara and a graduate of our former planners course.
Enaya displayed how state institutes restrict the development of Arab villeges in Wadi Ara by denying them  building lands and provide it instead for nearby Jewish villages like Harish.
After the lecture group members went on a tour with Mr. Ahmed Melhem chair of local committee in Wadi Ara to bear witness of what they heared from Dr. Bana.
After the tour participants stopped to take lunch and leave, they were very happy and looked forward for more tours like this in the future.
