Thinking group meets to discuss a new School for Peace branch in the north

Friday, June 19: A small, highly motivated group of graduates of SFP courses in the northern part of the country met in Nazareth to conceptualize a regional branch of the School for Peace that will implement the values and working methods of the SFP.

The project’s goal is to create change in Israeli society in general and in the northern region in particular.  A primary objective is to organize and dynamize graduates of SFP change agents courses, facilitator training courses, university courses, etc., as activists.

Our graduates estimate that northern Israel has an amenable social fabric for the promotion of a shared society, together with opportunities for mutual cooperation and relationships that are based on mutual respect.

The purpose of this seminal meeting was to formulate the basic conception of the project, its purpose, objectives, structure and content, together with a preliminary action plan to move it forward.
