A new library for Umm al-Hiran
On the eve of Ramadan, representatives of the SFP course for leaders of environmental justice went to establish a library in the village of Umm al-Hiran . Nael and Lubna Butto and their children; with Rudeina and Harb Amara and their children. (Harb Amara is facilitating the course together with Nava Sonnenschein). The need for a library came up during a visit conducted by the participants in Umm al-Hiran in solidarity with the struggle to prevent the planned destruction of their village by the authorities. In the morning we set out with shelving, books and games and by the evening a new library was installed, to the delight of the village children. Ramadan Kareem to everyone.
