Maisoon Badawi

The School for Peace

Head of Higher Education Programs and Project Manager

Maisoon Holds a B.A. in Education and Sociology and an M.A. (with honors) in Sociology and Anthropology from Tel Aviv University. She is also a graduate of the Conflict Group Facilitation Program at the School for Peace.

Maisoon has extensive experience in facilitation and in managing educational and social projects, alongside her work with human rights organizations, including the Association for Civil Rights in Israel and Yesh Din. In these roles, she expanded her engagement with issues of human rights and justice for Palestinians in the West Bank, serving as a field researcher and Gender Coordinator.

She currently serves as Project Manager and Head of Higher Education Programs at the School for Peace.

Mayson is Chair of the Board of Zochrot and a co-founder and board member of Karama – The Center Against Racism.

The School for Peace (SFP) at Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam (NSWAS) was established in 1979 as the first educational institution in Israel promoting broad scale change towards peace and more humane, egalitarian and just relations between Palestinians and Jews.
