We have reached Part 2 of the Conflict Group Facilitation Course

In the last meeting, there were sixteen Jewish and Arab participants, most of them present in the Fred Siegel Friendship and Peace Library, though some participated remotely by Zoom, due to the ongoing pandemic.

The participants shared with the group their analysis of what took place in the experiential part, composed of a dialogue according to the working method of the SFP.

There was a particularly fascinating analysis of the personal process that each one went through, which they expressed with sincerity and openness.

After lunch, Dr. Nava Sonnenschein gave a lecture on its approach vis à vis theories of majority – minority identity in social psychology and developmental theories of identity. She connected the theory to examples from the processes that participants meet with in peace school workshops.

Finally, the course participants divided into pairs so that they could plan their peer facilitation.
