Conference launches alumni action network for architects & planners

The School for Peace Posted on 02/01/2020 by nswassfp02/01/2020

On December 20-21 in Nazareth, the School for Peace and the Arab Center for Alternative Planning convened a founding conference for a new graduates’ action network for architects and planners. The two organizations have been collaborating on joint courses for four years now.  Some 40 graduates participated and shared their hopes and plans for the new network.

The conference was opened by Nava Sonnenschein of the SFP and Samer Swaid of the ACAP. Att. Michael Sfard gave the keynote lecture on the government’s intentions regarding the annexation of Area C. A number of the graduates discussed the important projects on which they have already been working.  Ideas for developing the alumni action network as a dynamo for change were presented.

Watch this space or follow the link to the Hebrew version for a full report on the proceedings.

Some photos from the conference are included below.
