It is more vital than ever that organizations address the underlying issues and intra-organizational relationships that can delay progress. That is where we can help.
In the midst of activity, violence, and political uncertainty, the School for Peace has been looking at what we can do to make a difference.
Two graduates of the School of Peace are setting up a group in which educators can discuss and learn more about these issues.
We, the faculty, staff and alumni of the School for Peace, in the village of Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom (Oasis of Peace), Jews and Arabs, have, as a community, been following the events of the recent days with abhorrence and disgust. The mixed cities, where much of the violence has been taking place, are home to citizens who are Israeli-Palestinians, a valid, national, indigenous minority; and to citizens who are Jewish Israelis.

The School for Peace overcame all obstacles to produce an amazing year of activities
On 19-20 March, we conducted another meeting of the SFP facilitator training course. The session was devoted to learning facilitation skills and theory.
On March 5, 2021, The SFP facilitators training course met to hear Dr. Adel Mana’s lecture on the Nakba and learn facilitation skills through peer facilitation.
MK Sami Abu Shehadeh from the joint list and chairman of Balad,contributed a special lecture that focused not just on the damages and injustices of the Nakba, but also on the psychological and social consequences that can be seen to this day.
