Grants for projects by School of Peace graduates: a call for applications
The School for Peace is issuing a second call for proposals for project grants. In addition, the most outstanding project will receive a special monetary award in the name of Dr. Nava Sonnenschein
1. The Purpose of the grants is to support initiatives and projects that advance the goal of the School of Peace to promote a humane, egalitarian and just society. The grant will be awarded to initiatives that promote peace, social and political change, equality between Jews and Palestinians, a just solution to the national conflict, and contribute towards ending occupation and the oppression. The grants are intended for initiatives in the professional fields of graduates of School for Peace courses that are designed to promote justice, the struggle against racism, democracy and an equal, shared, living space for Jews and Palestinians.
2. Eligible to submit applications will be School for Peace course graduates who wish to lead or are already leading projects and initiatives. Proposals may be submitted on the basis of a project ideas or for projects that are already active.
Grants will be given to suitable projects that meet some or all of the following criteria:

Degree of impact in changing the reality;

Likelihood of being implemented (for projects in the the planning stage);

Preference will be given to projects that show collaboration between School for Peace graduates or collaboration with other organizations that identify with the goals of a school for peace.
4. Scope of grants: The committee will distribute a grant of NIS 4,000 each to 7 projects.
In addition, the committee will select an extraordinary project that will win the Dr. Nava Sonnenschein Prize, for NIS 15,000.

In order to be considered, applicants must complete the project form. Please complete all the sections in Arabic or Hebrew.
Deadline for submission: 02/12/2021 at 12:00
The awards will be presented at an alumni conference to be held at the School for Peace School in January 2022.
